About Cartiva Bazar
A fruit seed bazar for growers who raise their own trees.
What we do
Cartiva Bazar sells fruit seed. That splits two ways, and we keep them separate because the buyers are different. On one side, the quick crops — watermelon, muskmelon, papaya, strawberry, cape gooseberry — sown and harvested inside a season. On the other, orchard seed: mango stones, citrus and sapota rootstock, guava, amla, bael and jamun, bought by growers who would rather raise their own rootstock than buy in grafted plants at four times the price.
Orchard seed has to be sold honestly, because the buyer will not know for two years whether it was good. So we state how long germination takes, how long to bearing, and whether the seed must be sown fresh — several of these will not survive drying, and we say so on the listing.

Our catalogue is 36 products across 5 categories:
- Melons & Vine Fruit — Watermelon, muskmelon and passion fruit — the fast fruit crops you sow and harvest the same year. (7 products)
- Papaya & Quick Fruit — Papaya, strawberry and cape gooseberry, cropping within a season of planting. (7 products)
- Orchard & Rootstock Seed — Seed for raising your own rootstock and seedling trees — mango, citrus, guava, sapota. (7 products)
- Hardy Native Fruit — Amla, bael, jamun, karonda, ber and tamarind for dryland and boundary planting. (8 products)
- Tropical & Specialty — Dragon fruit, custard apple, fig and mulberry for the grower trying something new. (7 products)
Everything listed is supplied as seed for sowing and cultivation. Nothing on this website is sold as food, feed or a food ingredient, and nothing is processed for consumption.
Who we serve
Orchard growers raising their own rootstock, nurseries producing grafted planting material, melon and papaya farmers, and home growers planting fruit for the first time.
How we handle tax
Seed for sowing falls under HSN 1209 and is nil-rated or exempt from GST where applicable. We do not apply that treatment simply because a product is called a seed. Each product carries its own reviewed tax classification, and a product whose classification has not been approved does not appear for sale on this website at all. The treatment recorded at the moment of sale is the treatment printed on your invoice, so a later catalogue correction never rewrites a document already issued.
How we operate
- Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days, with courier tracking on every consignment.
- Checkout itemises product value, GST and shipping before payment. The total shown is the total charged.
- Every paid order generates a numbered invoice automatically, available from your order page.
- Every payment is reconciled against exactly one order using the gateway transaction reference.
- Cancellation, return, refund and shipping terms are published in full and linked from every page.
